About the Author
Brian “Asriel” Newman lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee where
he attends a Messianic Congregation and spends weekends with his two dearly
loved daughters, Aliyahna Shalom and Shema Yisrael.
He has been writing from an
early age after art failed to be a successful endeavor. Brian has translated
his years of life experience that begin with growing up in a log cabin where he
had a pet raccoon in a town without a traffic light, to serving 4 years in the
military where he was stationed in Germany and Oklahoma to lyric writing in
Nashville where he was also studying History and German at Belmont University,
travelling back to Germany to be an exchange student, on to grad school for
seminary and a master’s in marriage and family, to divorce and a brief time of
homelessness afterwards.
Then there was ministry that never left the ground, and much
financial struggle along with way.
Brian shares his experiences with Anxiety
and Depression, the early death of both parents, falling in and out of love,
living in both the backwoods of Tennessee and the cities of Europe, and all
that The Creator has taught Him and blessed Him with along The Way.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your
fingers,
the moon and the stars, which
You established—what is man, that You are
mindful of him?And the son of man, that You
care for him? Psalm 8:4
